The Add XY Coordinates tool allows the values of the XY coordinates to be calculated (if the layers have the Z coordinate (height), it can also be calculated). To execute, go to the following address:
ArcToolbox > Data Management Tools > Features
In the “Input Features” section, first select the layer (e. g. buildings) and confirm the selection by pressing “OK” (Figure 29). Then the attribute table opens, where it can be seen that two new fields have been created. These new fields store the XY coordinates of the point layer. The same process can be repeated for all point layers (e. g. secure_sites and hydrant_points).
