[ESRI software] In ArcGIS Image Server, a polygon that defines the mosaic boundary of the raster dataset used in an image service. Overlapping raster datasets can be blended along the seamline by a specified width. Seamlines are created with the Seamline extension tools, and are stored as shapefiles within the image service definition.
