The Crime Analysis extension supports the common workflows currently performed in ArcMap, along with new features unique to ArcGIS Pro 2.2.
Crime Analysis includes an ArcGIS Pro project with Add-in Crime Analysis, which includes the Crime Analysis tab and ribbon that can be used to perform a number of key analytical functions to support crime analysis. Before using the Crime Analysis tools with your data, familiarise yourself with the content of the Crime Analysis project.
The extension is well organised into a single tab within the ArcGIS Pro Ribbon and groups the current ArcGIS Pro tools together with tools that are original Crime Analysis tools. The Crime Analysis extension is available at no additional cost to ArcGIS Pro clients, although some geoprocessing tools require a Spatial Analyst license.
These exclusive tools use data from the Greater Manchester Police to illustrate some cases. The cases are divided into the list of the same sections as the toolbar:
- Data Management
- Selection
- Tactical and Strategic Analysis
- Investigative Analysis
- Create and Share Information
