Finally, Landsat 9 satellite images can now be downloaded, here’s how to do it.
Landsat 9, launched on September 27, 2021, joins Landsat 8 in orbit; the satellites’ orbits will be 8 days out of phase. Landsat 9 will replace Landsat 7 (launched in 1999), taking its place in orbit (8 days out of phase with Landsat 8).
To download Landsat 9 images you need an Earth Explorer account, if you don’t have one you can register here: https://ers.cr.usgs.gov/login
Once you have successfully logged in, go to the study area using the navigation controls, in the Search Criteria panel you can add or remove placemarks.

In the Data Sets panel showing the availability of different types of images (Landsat, radar, lidar, elevation, etc.), select Landsat 8-9 OLI/TIRS C2 L2 in the Landsat category.

Then in the Additional Criteria panel under Satellite select 9.

By clicking on Results, it shows the available Landsat 9 images, finally to download the desired iBy clicking on Results, it shows the available Landsat 9 images, finally to download the desired image click on the Download Options icon.
