In this film, we present concepts, principles, and techniques related to maps and and map making. You will develop knowledge in map types, fonts, colors, figure-ground relationships, compilation, display, and design. Mapping tools & production techniques found in ArcGIS Desktop will be used to make a wind map.
This film introduces the basic concepts and techniques for the manipulation, analysis, and the graphic representation of spatial information. The film provides an overview of the compilation and symbolization of spatial data and the application of ArcMap.
